Zoo Day

We have been going with Jayme Welly and her boys to the zoo about once a month for the last few months to the Phoenix Zoo! But because the Welly's are moving next weekend, today was our last zoo trip. :( We did have a blast though! Ava and Riley have become pretty good friends and have really come to love our trips to the zoo! This morning she came in and woke me up saying, "Mommy I waked up in the morning! Go to the zoo with Riley and Tristan now?!" Needless to say it was an eventful day! We will really miss having the Welly's around to play with!

Pretty Toes Daddy!

Last night I decided to paint Ava's nails. She loves it when we paint her nails and toe nails because she says she has "pretty toes like mom!" So when we were done with her toes, she had the idea to paint dads toes! It was pretty funny to watch. Chris is such a good daddy to let his little girl paint his toes such a bright pink color! And as you can see, Ava worked very hard and very carefully to get it just right!

Country Thunder

This weekend Chris had tickets to Country Thunder that I got him for his birthday! It was my first time going to country thunder and even though I only got to go one night, it was a blast! We got to see Joe Nichols and Neal McCoy perform. Anyways, it's been a while since we've had a date with just the two of us, so I enjoyed spending time with my hubby! We had a good time! Can't wait for next year!

Easter

I know it's a little late, but I just wanted to post a couple cute pics of our Easter this year! We ended up just staying at home, so it was just our own little family of Chris, Ava, and I. We still did it all though! Saturday we colored easter eggs and Ava had a blast! Then Sunday morning we woke up and had our own little egg hunt in the back yard! The weather was beautiful outside and it was fun to watch Ava as she wondered through the yard finding all the eggs!
