Monster Squash!

I had to get on here and post this! I was just out finishing up in my garden, watering my zucchini's and found THIS MONSTER ZUCCHINI growing! This is the first fruits we've gotten from our new little garden! It's SO exciting!! I just had to share! Can't wait til all the veggies start to get ripe!! Yummy!

Memorial Day

Here are just a couple pics from our Memorial day. We took a trip out to the Bass Pro Shop with our neighbors and their little girl, Kaylee. We had fun looking around and seeing the fish and stuff. It is a fun store, but I think Cabela's is better! (If only it wasn't so far away!) But then we ate lunch and ran some other errands.





After all the running around town, we got home and decided the weather was just too perfect to stay inside, so we packed up the BBQ grill and went out into the desert so the boys could go shooting and we did a little cook-out! It was fun! Won't be able to do things like that for long though! Should get hot this week! All-in-all though we had a great memorial day! It was nice to just go out on a whim and spend time with Chris and our friends all day! Wish there were more days like that!

Sunday Dinner w/ Kati

On Sunday, Kati and Kyle came over for dinner and to
see the puppies! They are getting so big already. They still haven't
opened their eyes yet, but they are
all almost double the weight
they were when they were born!
Its amazing how fast they grow!
Hopefully this week they should
start opening their eyes and
maybe even start to walk a little
bit! Anyways, just wanted to say
"thanks" to Kati for joining us
for dinner! We had a great time!
Ava loves having you over! And
it was good to see you and Kyle!
We are going to miss you when
you move to Utah! Love you!

Hair Cut Time!

Last Wednesday Ava got her first REAL hair cut! She has had small hair cuts before, just a little trim here and there, but this time she got it trimmed and we cut some bangs! I was so proud of her! She did so good sitting still in the chair while our friend, Malori, cut her hair! And she did an awesome job! She looks so cute and grown up with her little bangs! What a big girl she is growing up to be!

New Puppies Have Arrived!

Last night, around mid-night, (that's why I am still up now at 4:00 in the morning) we had our first litter of little weimarainer puppies! Jewls did great! She popped all 10 of those puppies out with in about 3 1/2 hours! 3 boys and 7 girls! Which is incredible! It was an amazing sight to see! I found it facinating how she took to it all so perfectly and knew just what to do! Now I am sitting here watching them as they all grunt themselves to sleep after a good feeding. It's been a long night for all of us! So I'm going to try and get some sleep myself now! Can't wait for Ava to wake up and see the miracle that happened over night! It's going to be a very busy next 6-8 weeks! Who wants a puppy!!!?

Garden

This is my beautiful garden that I have been working on all spring! Ok, with maybe a little help from Chris... I just wanted to show it off to everyone because this is our first very own garden! In the garden we are currently growing strawberries, red peppers, yellow peppers, mint leaves, tomatoes, red grapes, watermelon, and zucchini! And there is still room for a few more things that I plan on throwing in there! It has been lots of fun taking care of it and watering it everyday and slowly watching things bloom and grow! I think it will probably be a new life-time hobby for us! Having a garden is something that I've always wanted and now that we have one, I've decided its just something that we will never do without!

Date Night!

This last Friday night Chris and I went on a very much needed "dinner
and a movie" date! We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and it was
DELICIOUS! Chris got this HuGe double cheeseburger, and I got some
yummy chicken tacos! His burger was so big that he couldn't
even fit his mouth over it! So we got some funny pics... After dinner
we went and saw "What Happens in Vegas." And it was pretty
halarious! All in all, we had a great time! I love spending time with
Chris, he always makes it a good time!

Trip to the Fair!

Last weekend we went to the Verde Valley Fair

with the Blairs while we were up in Cottonwood!

Although we were only there for a couple hours,

we all had a great time! We saw lots of animals

and Ava loved riding all the rides! Last year she

wasn't tall enough to ride anything, except the

merry-go-round. So this year was so much for

fun because her and Tyler, (her cousin), got to

ride all the kiddie rides.

Motorcycle Man

This is Chris on his Motorcycle. He got it to ride to work everyday and when he goes without it he says he has "withdrawls." Don't worry, this picture is just a pose... I'd never let him ride in shorts and without a helmet!
